TXU OVERCHARGES

Have you been a Victim? Has your electric bill Skyrocketed?

Many Texans have seen their electric bills SOAR while TXU claims "There is no problem."

One Possible Culprit...

TXU's New Metering Plan'
TXU's New Metering Plan
During the past year, TXU Electric Delivery Corporation began changing its meter reading and billing process to increase corporate profits. As a result, many honest hard working Texas families have seen their electic bills double, triple or even quadruple. In some cases electric meters standing alone in the middle of a field with absolutely *nothing* attached have generated $1000 electric bills for TXU. An increase in corporate profits indeed.

Despite being made aware of its inflated and inaccurate electric bills as early as September, 2006, TXU has, all the while, continued to maintain "There is no problem." Despite TXU conducting its own internal investigation into the problem, TXU continued to take the benefit of the inaccurate and inflated bills -- all the way to the bank. When honest Texans raised questions to TXU about the wildly inflated electic bills, TXU was quick to respond that the bill was correct, it must be paid, or the electricity would be turned off. No Texan deserves the indignity of this type of corporate mistreatment. If this sounds familiar, we can help.

What Can You Do About It?

On April 13, 2007, the Rankin Law Firm, PLLC, The Law Office of David J. Guillory and T. Stefan Allen, P.C. filed a lawsuit in Angelina County to hold TXU accountable for its billing practices and to recover and return the overcharges by TXU to the hard working Texas families that have been the victims of this corporate mistreatment.

Contact our offices immediately and we will be glad to protect your right to recover any amount that you have been overbilled for your electric service. As with any lawsuit, it is important that you act quickly so that evidence can be gathered and preserved before there is an opportunity for the evidence to be lost or destroyed. To help with this process, we have created a client information sheet that you may either fill in on-line or print and return the form to our office by fax or mail.

If you do not have any questions about our power of attorney, simply return a completed and signed copy to our office along with your information sheet. If you have any questions about it, please do not hesitate to call.

You don't have to be a victim of corporate mistreatment. We can help. We look forward to working on your behalf to zealously protect your right to hold TXU accountable for the harm it has caused Texas families.
